Welcome new families!
District 41 is a warm, welcoming place known for high academic achievement, a strong sense of community and active family involvement. We serve approximately 3,500 students from Kindergarten through eighth grade in four elementary schools and one junior high. We also have limited pre-school classes for students with special needs.

Our graduates attend Glenbard West High School, one of four high schools in Glenbard District 87. Our name is Glen Ellyn School District 41, but we actually serve parts of five communities: Carol Stream, Glendale Heights, Glen Ellyn, Lombard and Wheaton.

Our boundaries go roughly from Route 53 on the east, President Street on the west, Roosevelt Road (Route 38) on the south and North Avenue (Route 64) on the north. The boundaries are asymmetrical, so if you are not sure if you reside in our district, contact Marylou Gehringer in Central Services, 630-534-7529. Click here for a boundary map.
